Hussain Al Qemzi

Chairman

Hussain is a seasoned banker with over 30 years of experience. Hussain served as Chief Operating Officer of Operations at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) until 2003 and is credited with laying the groundwork for a world-class financial hub. Hussain also led Sharjah Islamic Bank as its Chief Executive Officer until 2006. In 2006, he was mandated by the Government of Dubai to establish a new shariah-compliant financial institution and he was appointed as Group CEO for Noor Bank PJSC - with an asset size of over AED 40Bn. In addition to the above roles, Hussain has also served on the board of a number of companies including Dubai Financial Market, Dubai International Financial Exchange, Noor Bank PJSC, Diera Investment Company, Noor Takaful PJSC.

Saadaat Yaqub Bajwa

Saadaat has over 19 years of institutional banking, investment advisory and business development experience covering Islamic and conventional products. Previously at Noor Bank PJSC in Dubai where he was working as Head of Wholesale Banking Group since 2007.He has led and managed the origination, execution and placement of more than 150 primary syndications, capital markets and corporate finance mandates valued in excess of USD 100Bn across sectors, products and jurisdictions.

Sathish Subbiah

Sathish brings more than 18 years of wealth management experience working with UHNW private clients, family offices and financial institutions across the US, UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia . In his most recent role, he was the co-founder and Senior Executive Officer of Plurimi Wealth (Dubai) Limited and MD & Partner of Plurimi Wealth LLP in London. He started his career with Morgan Stanley in LA, California and held various senior positions at UBS Wealth Management, Barclays Private Bank and Lloyds Private Bank based in London.

Vincent Carfora

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 2004 and remaining there for eighteen years, Vincent covered institutional clients for UBS in Switzerland and London. Whilst at Deutsche Bank he was Group Head of Wealth Management, overseeing a team across London, Switzerland , Singapore and Dubai covering primarily Entrepreneurs. In addition to sitting on a plethora of investment committees and holding positions within these leading investment banks, Vincent has been at the forefront of innovating and shaping the industry for many years.

Kailash Shivdasani

Kailash has almost 2 decades of experience in international private banking across multinational banks like Bank of Singapore (BOS) and ABN Amro Bank. In his previous role at Bank of Singapore in Dubai, he spent over 15 years as a Senior Private Banker and Trusted Advisor responsible for originating and managing ultra-high-net-worth clients from West Africa, UAE, and Sri Lanka. Prior to his BOS stint, Kailash spent around 4 years at ABN Amro, Dubai, responsible for managing ultra-high-net-worth clients predominantly from West Africa. Kailash received his Bachelor of Electronics Engineering degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Mumbai University.

Osman Akbar

Aly Ajani has 20 years of institutional banking experience with Citibank. He has managed a number of geographies across the region and has a wide range of transactional execution experience across corporate finance, equity and debt capital markets and M&A. His last role at Citi was the Head of Banking for Citibank UAE. Aly has been instrumental in developing in private placement capability at Citibank UAE. Aly has originated and placed over USD 200Bn across sectors for his clients in different geographies through a combination of bank market and public and private debt and equity markets and brings significant knowledge and capability to the team.

Zainab is a highly skilled finance professional with 13+ years of experience in investment banking and financial advisory covering GCC markets, with a focus on Shariah compliant fixed income. At Fiducia Capital Limited, she provides fixed income investment advisory and manages client services for UHNWIs. Earlier she worked with Noor Bank (UAE) as part of the Shariah compliant debt capital markets team, arranging capital markets transactions in excess of USD 14 billion for Emirates Airlines, Nakheel, Investment Corporation of Dubai, Aldar and Dubai Holding and has also held strategic planning and communication roles with Fortune 500 companies, Shell and GlaxoSmithKline.

At her previous role in UBL, she has successfully launched market acclaimed deposit products for various market segments, delivering substantial deposit mobilization and accelerated client acquisition. As a product manager she was also responsible for managing current and saving portfolio of USD 3 Billion deposit and 2 million accounts and has also led the re-designing of product offerings, product marketing strategy and client engagement strategy based on client segmented approach for revenue optimization.
